Gabriella's Copper Bracelet from Budapest

Some things you simply feel when you wear them.

This piece was created for those days when your joints remind you that they’ve been working — the feathers are hand-engraved, and each hook is drawn individually with the tool I have used for thirty years.

Copper has been on the skin for millennia, and the people who needed their joints to keep pace with their lives, who come back to me, always say the same thing: they stopped perceiving what they previously had to feel on their wrist.

This is one of the last bracelets I will make before I permanently close my workshop. I hope it finds the wrist that needs it the most.
