Gabriella Budapest Twilight Copper Earrings

We put on a few pieces at the end of the day and immediately feel something release. I created these for women who want to mark the moment when work ends and the evening begins - each piece is made from a single strip of copper, hand-polished to a smooth finish, then twisted into a spiral shape until the full two and a half inches become what they were always meant to be.

Copper has been worn by people close to their skin for millennia, those who needed something to help them return to themselves, and those who come back to me always say the same thing: they stopped wearing their old jewellery.

These earrings are among the last I will make before I permanently close my workshop. I hope they find shoulders ready for liberation.
