Gabriella Budapest Ox Eye Brass Hoop Earrings

There is something about the hoop that moves with you. Light, quiet, always present.

I shaped these by hand, just as I have shaped brass for forty years — a continuous spiral form, without seams that could catch or tear.

Those who wear brass close to their skin tend to continue wearing it. I have never had to explain why, and I won’t start now.

These are among the last earrings I will make before I close my workshop. I hope they find the right ears.
