There is a certain morning in Sedona when the light has not yet fully decided what it wants to be – delicate, low, a bit misty. This feeling was with me the whole time I was crafting this piece.
I worked on every centimetre of the bracelet by hand with a hammer, applying slow, uneven strokes to the texture so that the light would fall differently depending on how you turn your wrist. The onyx stone in the centre was placed last, set into a delicate beaded border, before cutting out the details on both sides.
Copper has been worn on the skin for a very long time, long before anyone began to question why. I make no statements. I just know that those who started wearing copper continue to wear it, and this has been the case in my workshop for forty years.
I hope this bracelet finds the wrist it was meant for.
