Gabriella Budapest Copper Ring

There are days when your hands feel like they belong to someone older than you, and there are days when they feel like your own again. I made this ring for the second type of day.

The band is hand-engraved, every decorative line is slowly cut with the tools I have used for decades, and I have embedded two magnetic points into the copper using an old method, without haste.

Those who work by hand have long worn copper; I have never felt the need to explain more than that.

This is one of the last rings I will make before I permanently close my workshop. I hope it finds its way to hands that will use it well.
