Gabriella Budapest Copper Earrings

There exists a stability that comes from stone, something that the earth has held onto longer than we can measure. This is the feeling I wanted to create.

Each earring consists of a series of interconnected copper rings, and within each ring sits a hand-set crystal, one by one. This technique requires patience. First, the stone must be placed and secured, then one can move on to the next ring. This cannot be rushed. The crystals shine in their own way, warmly and quietly, not noisily.

Those who wear copper seem to find their own balance. Their bodies remember what stability feels like. I have seen this over forty years, and I still don’t need to explain it.

I hope these earrings find someone who knows they need them.
