Gabriella Budapest Copper and Jadeite Earrings

Some things you put on and immediately feel different. I created this piece for those days when your joints remind you that they are there.

There is something special about copper on the wrist, the warmth it retains, the weight it carries. I have hand-set the jadeite insert. The colour stripe lies as the moss lies on the stone, as if it was always meant to be there.

People who wear copper on their wrists wear it continuously. For forty years, and I have never had to explain why.
