Copper Bracelet Gabriella Budapest Grove

There are pieces that we put on and immediately feel calmer. I created this bracelet for those days when the joints need something solid and stable beneath them - each segment is individually and manually shaped, the copper compressed and formed into rounded shapes, just as bamboo builds itself section by section towards the light.

People have worn copper on their skin for millennia, those who needed their bodies to remain flexible and their joints to be able to move, and those who return to me always say the same thing: they stopped perceiving what they had previously noticed.

This is one of the last bracelets I will make before I permanently close my workshop. I hope it finds the wrist that needs a little peace.
